Membership Info.

to join 845Subie as a community member,
you must agree to the following

1. Register through our facebook

2. Represent the club responsibly. Don’t engage in any behavior that could hurt the club’s reputation. Do not tag 845Subie in any political, derogatory, or problematic contexts.
3. Respect meet locations. No burnouts, speeding, or excessive noise (unless permitted by the location). All trash that you brought in must be thrown out or taken with you.
4. Respect your fellow members. No community member will be allowed to join if they have past issue with the club as a whole or the council and the issue has not been rectified. If you have any issues with anyone, speak with a council member to resolve the matter before it escalates. Harassment or disrespectful behavior including bullying, hate speech, or discrimination toward other members online or in person will not be tolerated and will result in discipline. Don’t try to take advantage of anyone.
5. Avoid active disciplinary issues or conflicts with other members- If you have any issues with another member, speak with a member of the council to resolve the matter before it escalates.

Must be an active community member for a minimum of 3 months before applying.
Attend events regularly to meet other members and the club council.
Demonstrate respect and commitment to club values
Contribute to the club through volunteering, media sharing, or mentoring new members

Must be an active prospective member for a minimum of 6 months.
Attend a minimum of 4 events, including meets, cruises, and cars & coffee.
Attend a Prospective Member Night to meet with council and other elite members.
Demonstrate respect, leadership, and commitment to club values.
No active disciplinary issues or unresolved conflicts with other members
Receive Council recommendation and approval

The council is the core leadership team that plans, organizes, and manages the club’s operations and long-term direction. Our club is run by a group of Subaru lovers who put their hearts into keeping the community alive and thriving. Each of us brings something different to the table. Together, we keep things running smoothly.

Jason "Jay"

I’ve been into cars for as long as I can remember as a form of expression and a way to connect with people who feel the same. I really got hooked on the WRX/STI scene after checking out my buddy Kevin’s 2017 WRX. Back then, he was the 845Subie president, and we decided to build a club where people could be proud of their rides and the friendships that come with them.

Our goal is simple: bring people together, grow our knowledge, and leave a positive footprint in the car community through meets, track days, rallies, and charity work. No one cares what you know until they know that you care.

Whether you drive a WRX, STi, Outback, or Legacy or something totally different, you’ll find a place here. And if you’re chasing that dream build, we’ve got advice, resources, group buys, and hookups with local shops and big-name brands to help you get it done.

Being part of this club isn’t just about the cars, it’s about the crew. I’ve made lifelong friends, had some wild adventures, and found a sense of belonging I didn’t even realize I was missing in 845Subie.

We’re not just a crew. We’re family. And yeah, “Subie” is in the name, but if you love cars, you’re welcome here.

Before starting the club, I didn't really have many friends because I'm not from here and with working so many hours, it was hard for me. I started going to car meets & car shows and checking out other people rides. You know that gets old after a while on your own.

I was driving a Scion TC back then, but when I saw the new S15, i fell in love with the car and the culture of JDM enthusiasts around the same time. I saved for 2 years before I finally got my hands on a 2017 WRX limited. I was so excited to get it all done up and bring it out, but until i met T.i, I had nobody to go with. We met on a WRX group on Facebook, and he had a friend that also drove a Subaru.

We all started hanging out and I was like, man, this is great how cars bring strangers together to became friends. We decided to start our own group that way we could meet more people around the area, so I came up with the name 845Subie.

A few weeks following that, I met my VP (at that time) Jason who was just a kid that we bumped in at the gym parking lot. We mentioned to him we are doing car & coffee you are more than welcome to come, even though at the time, he was driving a Civic. To me, it didn't matter what you drove as long as you had the heart and passion for it. Jay showed up and he felt the love and vibe that 845subie had already, so he went out and got a 2019 WRX. His famous slogan is "good energy." It was just a group of guys wanting to hang out and socialize, but it became more than that. Ever since then, the club became a big 845Subie family.

I’ve always wanted a Subaru since I was a little kid. What did it for me is hanging around 845Subie back in 2018/2019. A few of the members used to let me drive their cars and I fell in love with Subarus. Ever since then, I’ve talked highly of Subarus and now I have 2. A Subaru is the best bang for your buck, what car can you buy that’s awd, sporty, and quick for the price of a Subaru?

I currently have a 2022 WRX that is my daily driver, I haven’t done much to that other then an intake and axle back exhaust and lowering springs. I also have a 2015 WRX that is far from stock. The car is full bolt ons including an upgraded turbo on e85 and methanol.

Originally, when I started hanging out with 845 subie I had a mustang GT and they all loved it and still made me feel like one of them. They would let me cruise with them to meets and car shows. Then eventually, that drove me to get a Subaru and actually be apart of the club, which I don’t regret. 845Subie is the reason why I have a Subaru today, so I am definitely proud to say that I am a part of this team.

I’ve spent the last 25 years building my passion for cars: learning, working on my own, and pushing myself to get better. Through plenty of trial and error, I eventually found my way into the Subaru world, and I’ve been hooked ever since.

These days, my 2004 STi and my 1991 Subaru Sambar are my pride and joy. In 2023, I started competing in the Beat Bucky Simracing Challenge and even beat times set by Bucky Lasek, Travis Pastrana, and Scott Speed. That opened the door to working with Subaru of America as a Rally Sim Tech and event driver.

845 Subie is one of those places that makes everyone feel welcome. For me, it’s all about giving back, sharing the passion, and keeping car culture alive. Personally this club has brought groups of people together to enjoy our vehicles as more than transportation. More than just a club this has made me grow as a person and opened up opportunities not for just myself but everyone involved in this vision. The club is the future of car culture where we can all build upon our rides and ourselves without the stigma of a toxic environment.

Subaru is technically my first love. As long as I can remember, I've been a fan of this brand and meeting other people that are like-minded. I have the stars tattooed on my back. I owned over six Subarus, seven counting my wife’s Legacy.

My current subaru is a 2004 WRX Java Black Pearl — one-year-only color, ~1,200 survivors. Owned since I was 19. Stage 2+ COBB Accessport, Invidia downpipe to Spec D exhaust (full 3" with 4–4.5" grapefruit shooter tip). Lowered on Raceland Ultimo coilovers with fully adjustable hats. SPT strut tower brace (front) & STI strut tower brace (rear, the pink one), pink JNA radiator & alternator shrouds. Perrin turbo inlet, Whiteline sway bars/links, bushings, couplings. TrueHart lateral arms/links, Hurricane bushings, STI lightweight lower control arms, STi BBS wheels, 4-pot Subaru brakes. JDM hazard switch, Lamco gauges, Momo steering wheel & matching shift knob.

845Subie has always been a place where the community is more like a family. We try to help each other out when we’re down and come up with ideas for our next steps to progress in our builds together.

Matt "Snuggs"

I like long walks on the beach, my favorite color is magenta, and I have a complicated relationship with my Subaru. My love for the brand comes directly from the hate and stress it puts me through on a daily basis… and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I guess you could say I’m a glutton for punishment...with a soft spot for boxer engines and generally questionable financial decisions.

I own a BRZ that’s both my best friend and worst enemy every single day. Some days it’s a smooth, spirited drive that makes me grin ear to ear, and other days it’s plotting my downfall. Either way, it keeps life interesting.

Being part of 845Subie isn’t just about the cars. it’s about the people who understand why you’d willingly sign up for this kind of love/hate relationship. From the “it should only take an hour,” to having found a place where I can talk cars, drink coffee, and not be judged for my dairy obsession. I also love dairy as much as I shouldn't. But, fuck it no risk no reward.

I wanted to own an STi since I was young and first saw the Blobeye when it came off the boat from Japan. All of a sudden, cars were cool and here comes this thing from Japan that nobody here had ever seen before on our streets.

After I got my car in 2020, I wanted to keep it as stock as possible as it's my daily. I do have an AWE Track Exhaust, some carbon fiber accents, and Enkei E6R wheels with the best fitment I could've gotten. The subtle modifications make it feel like it's mine, but it retains the look I originally fell in love with.

I remember going on Facebook and putting in "Subaru Groups." And there was the club. I went to a meet in a parking lot and the rest was history. 845Subie is full of people I don't hate. All jokes aside though, the atmosphere is never forced, people are genuine, and everyone is invested.

Subaru isn't just a car, it’s the perfect blend of performance and personality. Subaru’s rally heritage, turbocharged power, and all-wheel-drive capability make every drive exciting, whether it’s carving back roads or cruising with friends. I first saw the STI inn 2004, and from that moment I knew I had to have one. It wasn’t just a car—it was the dream, the sound, the style, and the rally spirit that stuck with me until I finally made it mine.

My 2017 Subaru STi has a Perrin intake, intercooler, boost controller, and engine dress up kit, a full aero ki, EBC stage 6 rotors and pads, Sparco Podio rims, Boomba Break deflectors, Remark Catback exhaust, Koyorad radiator, Boomba bypass valve, and a RCM Timing belt kit. I’ve always admired Subaru for building cars that are both fun and functional, and owning one has only deepened that connection.

Being part of 845 Subie takes it to the next level. It’s more than a club. It’s a family of enthusiasts who share the same passion for the brand, the culture, and the community. From meets and cruises to lending a hand with mods, 845 Subie brings people together through our shared love of these amazing cars.
